In the past couple of days we've seen an email slowdown in delivery of up to two days. This is being caused by an exploit in old phpbb installations on our servers that are being used by Brazilian spammers to send a flood of spam. The mail queue was backed up by as many as half a million emails which were clogging up delivery.

Last night we turned off all unnecessary services and dedicated the server to processing the mail queue, so it should be finished or close to it at this point which means you should see a flood of email this morning/afternoon.

If you have phpbb installed, we've disabled your installation until it is updated. Contact support (at) logjamming dot com if you have any questions.

Thanks for being patient while we sorted this out!

If you are a MovableType user PLEASE upgrade to the latest version, which has bug fixes that will help alleviate the comment spam issue that has been killing our servers lately. Thank ya kindly!

If you noticed any weird issues today it was due tot he server drive filling up. Extraneous log files were the culprit and we've fixed the issue. We'll be keeping an eye on it.
