Monday, October 14, 2002Wow. Rackspace is dicking us around right now. Some sites on the RAQ won't resolve because there is a problem with their routing tables (I'm fairly sure). They are denying this, even to the point of claiming to me that my ISP is at fault. The tech actually tried to maintain that this was the problem after I explained to them that I had pinged the IPs from ten different networks in 4 different states.
I am personally sorry that your sites are affected by their screw up (I am 99% sure it is on their end) and am doing my best to work with them to fix it. I apologize regardless. Things like this really make me question whether or not we should stay with Rackspace. Note : all Plesk/Red Hat sites are unaffected. .: posted by Josh Sisk 6:08 PM
Friday, October 04, 2002Fun fact from Josh:
MT-comments.cgi uses up 8.4% of the CPU each time it runs. wow, the second time i ran it it took 21.6% !!! right now we have 25% of our memory free, but no free cpu... but most of the cpu processes are sleeping. only 2-5 are running at any one time. .: posted by Loren Cox 11:30 AM
