Thursday, April 11, 2002We are going to be upgrading to Plesk 2.5 sometime this week. This will require a few hours of down time. You should be recieving an email from us with more details within the next few days. The upgrade includes a newer version of Apache, PHP, MySQL, and some security updates.

We upped the max connections to the MySQL DB's to 150, hopefully that will help to alleviate the problems we were having where we'd have too many connections, thus shutting out anyone using the database. Let us know if you see anymore DB connection errors.

Monday, April 01, 2002Well, I'm thinking our problems have a lot to do with this. We're being Slashdotted, folks. Not much we can do but ride it out. I'll try to take some steps if I can, but the server is swamped right now.
The hoax is also on Fark.com, and there is ANOTHER Wil Wheaton hoax on ThinkGeek. So... Looks like it's gonna be a loooong day. .: posted by Josh Sisk 11:46 AM
Server borked again this morning. I restarted it, it looks fine now. We'll get to the bottom of it tonight. There are some hack attempts in the logs, that could be the cause.
